You can start your holiday shopping early with the 34th Annual Roanoke Market

ROANOKE, Va. – The Junior League of Roanoke Valley wants to help kick off the holiday shopping season with its Stocked Market.

This is the organization’s 34th annual fundraiser.

The Stocked Market is a three-day event, offering a wide range of shopping and entertainment options.

More than 120 vendors will offer a range of unique gourmet foods, fashion, accessories, art, antiques and home and garden decorations.

The market usually draws around 10,000 shoppers to central Berglund throughout the weekend.

“We’re actually trying to make our region a little more buyable,” said Brittany Mitchell, Co-Chair of the JLRV Stocked Market. “We are extending some things this year to allow people who can come in wheelchairs or walkers, just so we can have more seats for them if needed and that is one of our big goals, to increase capacity of the store, the aisles being a little wider. So it’s a big boost for us so that we can have it available to everyone.

Proceeds from the shopping extravaganza support the Junior League’s mission and stay local to pay for things like training, grants for nonprofits, and scholarships.

The stocked market runs from Friday (November 11) to Sunday (November 13) at the Berglund Center.
